Prosperity Abounds is proud to announce this GST change that will help Canadian customers who want to purchase Super Blue Green Algae products:

We are delighted to share some news with our Canadian customers that will positively impact their wallets! Effective March 1, 2008, we will not charge Goods & Services Tax (GST) on any of our powdered products or on BG Bars. This change came as a result of our close work with UPS, our shipper. UPS also serves as our customs broker remitting GST to Revenue Canada on our behalf. Although regulations in Canada state that all dietary supplements are to be taxed, they also specify that while products in tablet, pill, capsule, or similar form are taxable, powdered dietary supplements that are mixed with food as an ingredient are GST exempt. We know that many of you routinely mix our powdered products with food or a beverage, so we are considering these products as GST exempt. We have also been informed that our BG Bars will be considered GST exempt. In the past we have been hesitant to explore this change, since our products are so clearly labeled as supplements, but our UPS contacts have jumped through all the necessary hoops to assure us that this change can be implemented.
